Lobster Pizza

Here’s another amazing Canadian pizza (but without controversial pineapples!), this time starring luscious lobster. We added potatoes and a medley of seasonings, including a classic for seafood, to create a flavour profile like no other. Use pre-made pizza dough and jarred sauce for ultimate convenience and you’ll have it on the table faster than you can order in.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (300 g) Canadian lobster meat
  • 2 tbsp + 1 tsp (30 ml + 5 ml) olive oil
  • 1 cup (140 g) sliced Yukon Gold potato
  • A pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup (25 g) celery, finely diced
  • ½ tsp (2.5 g) Old Bay® seasoning
  • ½ tsp (2.5 g) garlic powder
  • 1 bag (750 g) store-bought pizza dough
  • ½ cup (118 ml) jarred alfredo sauce
  • ½ cup (40 g) shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • ¼ cup (10g) celery leaves
  • 1 tsp (5 g) chopped chives

Steps

To Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
  2. Grease a pan with 1 tbsp olive oil. Toss potatoes in 1 tbsp olive oil and season with salt. Toss lobster meat with 1 tsp olive oil, Old Bay® seasoning, garlic powder, and celery.

To Assemble

  1. On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough to ¼-inch thick, sized to fit a sheet pan.
  2. Spread alfredo sauce over pizza crust. Top with potato slices, lobster mixture, and cheese.
  3. Place on bottom rack of oven for 5 minutes.
  4. Move pizza to middle rack and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling and golden.
  5. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chives and celery leaves. Slice and serve.
